I've praised Moyes from exceeding all expectations in the league, to his man management to his signings. But he's a fucking weirdo and his, own worse enemy. The only cunt to blame yesterday was him, yet again, thanks to moronic substitutions which played right into the Gooners hands. Some of us want to see his previous good work not fizzle into damp puddle of piss.

We’ve been better than some teams and not as good as others. We’ve won or drawn some games we might have lost in the past. Mostly a good season. Losing a three mill lead is always gutting but looked possible from the moment we were three nill up.
If we’re blaming Moyes for the bad results we must be praising him for all the good ones.

Disappointing in the end but in many way this match epitomises where we are: over-reliant on an erratic makeshift striker and lacking quality in depth.

Irrespective of tactical use, compare our bench to pretty much any in the league - we are massively light in both quality and numbers.

We also clearly have problems balancing attack and defence and have an inferiority complex to boot. All the above come from the culture and resources of the club.
Moyes needs to change the first of those and in fairness he is doing so - the amount of away wins at historically tricky sides demonstrates that though clearly there's more to be done.
The resources issue will remain problematic as long as the trio of cunts remain in charge.

However the bottom line is that we have made great strides this season. Entering the home straight and we are fifth - you have to be a fucking idiot to ignore that achievement and not to recognise the efforts of those who have got us there, Moyes included.

We can blame the ref, but there was no guarantee Lingard would have gone on to score. We were architects of our own downfall yesterday due to poor defending and losing our bottle and inviting pressure. Lucky with a point in the end.

The refereee certainly played his part in their comeback, had he not pulled it back for the free kick jesse could have made it 4-1 being through on goal, you could see moyes was not happy, the free kick against bowen should have been our free kick not theirs, poor ref contributed heavily to us dropping 2 points and possibly a champions league slot worth millions to the club.

I don’t think it was free kick on Bowen Lato. The cunt is terrible for it, so obvious when looking for a free kick. Part of me is glad moss realized what he was trying to do and punished him for it.

Obviously pissed off at the time but two unlucky own goals and getting nothing from the ref, hitting the post again, probably would have switched to a back 5 myself to block the crosses but it still would have invited pressure so who knows.

I think what happened was that Bowen goes down and wants a free kick, handles the ball deliberately, then ref awards Arsenal a free kick for hand ball. That seems the only logical explanation.

Arsenal did to us what we did to Spurs last season, and you can't get past the fact that losing a big lead feels much worse than making a big comeback, even though the results are exactly the same.

Someone wisely said the other day that the pressure is now on us since we're trying to cling on to our Champions League ambitions. We definitely looked like we were feeling the FEAR after the break. We defended well, but couldn't set up any counterattacks. When we got the ball, we just desperately booted it back to them.

We have to be better at transitioning. Benrahma was good for that and he was unlucky to come off.

I don't buy the half-time rocket thing, entirely - though there's clearly some truth in it.

It seems to me we sat back on a 2-0 nil lead from 17 minutes onwards, allowing Arsenal free rein to get back in the game. We scored a third on the break, but by that time Arsenal were all over us. We were second to the ball every time and there were masses of unforced misdirected passes.

I found the substitutions somewhat baffling. We were struggling to find a forward outlet for our defenders to relieve the incessant pressure, so took off two of our three potential outlets and replace them with more defenders. Fredericks for Bowen I could have coped with - Fredericks is like shit off a shovel, but geriatric Noble for Benrahma* was nonsense. Also, Antonio was absolutely fucked, so he should have been first off.

*I know the subs were actually the other way round, but effectively that's what happened. And yes, Benrahma was an absolute pile of shit.
